Don't Just Listen To Us,
Hear What The Parents Have To Say
"We are so grateful to have found Strong Roots Forest School. Our little one has intense separation anxiety, which would only get worse when we followed traditional steps to building confidence and independence. We had a miserable experience with a conventional nursery setting, and we were hugely apprehensive about trying again. Thankfully we found Strong Roots!
It’s been a gradual transition, but our little one is thriving! The separation anxiety is still there, but so much smaller. We can talk through the morning wobbles, and get excited about the day ahead. We’ve even had a total reverse, with tears at home time because she doesn’t want to leave!!! Something we never thought would happen!
With her growing confidence is the ability to do other activities independently, in unfamiliar settings, and to start to develop her social skills with her peers.
We feel certain we would still be having a miserable time if we persevered with conventional settings. Forest School really does Rock!"

"I can’t recommend Strong Roots Forest School enough. We are incredibly lucky to have been able to send our child there for 2 years, and will do the same for their younger sibling.
The children embrace the seasons, never complaining about the weather. They thrive outside in nature; playing in the snow, splashing in puddles, growing vegetables, making mud pies, having campfires and swinging in hammocks. All whilst surrounded by experienced, nurturing and empathetic staff members."

Lucy & Matt
"Our son has been going to Strong Roots Forest School for the past year, and we honestly couldn't be happier. He absolutely loves every session, and it's been wonderful to see how much he's grown in confidence, independence and his love of the outdoors.
The staff are incredibly kind, caring and supportive, creating such a warm and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We always know he's in safe hands and having the best time exploring, learning and making memories. We couldn't recommend Strong Roots Forest School highly enough – it's a truly special place."
We are rated OUTSTANDING by
"Children flourish in this wonderful, totally outdoors forest school setting. Children separate easily from their parents or carers. They rush in to explore the vast range of experiences on offer in the wondrous environment. Children have a deep sense of ownership of the setting. They are proud to show visitors around and talk about why 'Strong Roots' is important to them."
